Mr.Tirpan
was born in Instanbul;Turkey,where he started to study classical
piano.Later,Eugene Ali Perret was his jazz theory and
piano teacher.In 1989,he was awarded a full scholarship to study in
Bilkent University,School of Performing Arts.His piano teacher were martin
Berkowsky and namik Sultanov.In 1992 ,he transferred to Vienna,to study
piano at the State Conservatory with Prof.Gerhard Geretschlaeger and
composition at the University of Music and Performing Arts with Prof. Ivan
Eröd.In 1995,he represented his school as a performer in the Central
European Music Academis Composition Education Symposiom in Prague.In the
same year in the "Rising Talents"concerts,his "Fantasia"
for chello and piano was performed and he recorded Jorge Sanches Chiong´s
"Reflections of Invisible" for the Austrian Radio.He graduated
from both schools in 1997.He is continuing his studies at the University
of Music and performing Arts,Chamber Music Departament,Masters Programm
with Prof:Avadis Kouyoumdjian.Some of the Festivals he participated
are,1.CCR Piano Festival in Istanbul,South American Music
Festival(Vienna);Miles Davis Jazz Festival(Poland with Nicolas Simion
Quartett),Charles Mingus Evening(Porgy and Bess,Vienna),Vienna
Festival(with violinist Patricia Kopachinskaja),1.Thracian Summer Festival
(Bulgaria,Plovdiv) where he performed Bach Piano Concerto with Plovdiv
Opera Chamber Orquestra,European Music Festival(Vienna),Yehudi Menuhin
live music concerts, Bach 2000, Jeunesse, Young Concert Artists Festival
in Davos .On the occasion of 75.Anniversary of the Turkisch
Republic,he gave concerts in various centers in Canada such as Walter Hall
in Toronto.He made his debut in Meiningen ,Germany at a concert for the
50th anniversaty of Richard Strauss`s death with Mozart`s A Major
Concerto.He has recently recorded Mozart`s C Major Concerto,KV 466 with
Vidin Philarmonic Orquestra,conducted by Nayden Todorov for MMO. He
composed his first musical for Performing Arts Sudios of Vienna last
season "HEARTS"(Lyrics, Dardis Mc Namee) He
currently teaches at the Performing Arts Studios of Vienna.
